Those opposed to e-cigarettes fall into 4 distinct categories:

1-Big Tobacco: No comment needed. Greedy death merchants.
2-Big Pharma: They worry that e-cigs will cut into their lucrative market for ineffective smoking cessation products.
3-Bureaucrats: Who mourn the loss of “sin tax” revenue.
4-Busybodies: Foaming-at-the-mouth control freaks who go crazy at the mere idea of smoking, even a safer tobacco alternative.

Would you *really* want to align yourself with any of these scumbags?

Another BIG Thank You. I went from 20+ years of smoking a pack a day to using eCigs with mostly 0 nicotine in less than 2 weeks and I am feeling better than I have in years. I have tried the patches and gum several times in the past with no success. So, thank you again for speaking up and addressing this issue. My teen-age kids thank you too. They are very happy that I have been able to quit smoking and that I was able to do so without turning into a “Mommy Monster” while doing so.

I bought an e-cig three months ago and i can breathe properly again! Oh, what a difference. I am SO relieved to find an alternative way of satisfying my addiction without the damage associated with smoking. I bought one for my mom, who has first stage emphysemia and will never stop smoking. It will save what is left of her lung capacity.

This is an awesome message. Let’s hope that this message resonates with those that oppose e-cigarettes.

I finally quit tobacco cigarettes completely after smoking for 35+ years. Now hearing the FDA wants to ban electronic cigarettes horrifies me! I know from experience that. I WILL go back to (and most likely dies from) tobacco cigarettes if the choice is taken away from me. After 5 months of finally being able to breath normally again, and feeling better than I have in years… I just can hardly bear the thought of giving up something that has totally change my quality of life!

HEY GUYS, the government body FDA is soon banning this product in the USA unfairly, because they know that they will get less taxes from real cigarettes. this is unfair and goes against the american constitution! please please please go to Google and type in “electric cigarette petition” and click the first link. every vote counts, we have the right to quit cigarettes and save our health!!!

I just want to say thank you to the ECA for doing this. My E Cig is great, and I have found that it has cut down DRASTICALLY on the amount of normal cigarettes I smoke.. with my goal of quitting.

I’ve completely quit smoking with the e-cig. I tried smoking a regular cigarette again the other day and found it tasted awful and decided I don’t need them anymore. I’m stepping down my nicotine and planning on eventually to be vaping just plain vapor. I’m so happy. I tried nic patches and gum before and ended up smoking at the same time…which is BAD. With these I don’t feel the need to smoke a cigarette.

I agree with you, but I believe it is my right
to smoke, and should not have to pay all
the taxes and everything else people, like
you as a congressman passes on us. You don’t raise the price of chocolate, which is just as bad for you.

I guess the FDA would rather we die than quit smoking. So all these years of telling us to quit was just a “smoke screen” (pun intended) to sell the stupid nic gum and patches that do NOT work The FDA knows that we will continue to smoke analog cigarettes, if given no alternative, due to the highly addictive nature of nicotine.. I feel this is nothing short of manslaughter. What would you call it?

OMG. I ordered an electronic cigarette kit. I smoked a pack a day of menthol lights for years. Since I got this, I have not smoked a real cigarette! I sailed right through it. I can’t believe it. There is NO smell. No bad breath. No nasty taste. It’s not exactly like tobacco but very close! Close enough for me to be happy with it. Talk about feeling better as well! If these are banned by the gov but real cigarettes aren’t, something is VERY WRONG! If you’re a smoker, do your research and buy one

My husband and I are distributors for one of the electronic cigarette brands. I am also a smoker. The brand we market for does not sell these as “smoking cessation devices”, but rather as a smoking alternative. To me as a smoker, it’s all about the freedom to smoke one of these wherever I am and nobody can say a thing. I actually smoke both the e-cig and regular cigs, but I have cut way down on the regular cigs.
