How Well Should Your Electronic Cigarette Work

It is hard to know exactly what to expect from your electric cigarette when it first arrives since you more than likely have never used one. Even if you did try a disposable one before you purchased a starter kit, there will be a difference in the way they are put together. Disposable e cigarettes generally come assembled and ready to use with one extra filter. A starter kit will have two battery sticks, a package of five filters, a charger and an atomizer. Once the device is assembled you will be ready to use it right away just like the disposable.

If you have never even tried a disposable before you certainly will not know what to expect or how well the product will satisfy you. The one thing you can be sure of is that using an electric cigarette tastes and feels remarkably similar to smoking tobacco, but without all of the harmful aspects that go with that. Of course, you do still get the nicotine and there is some chemical content involved in the nicotine liquid, but there is nothing in the it that has not already been used in other FDA approved products. What is not in the nicotine liquid are things like ammonia, formaldehyde, benzene or cyanide. All of those chemicals can be found in tobacco.

When you first start to puff on your fully assembled electric cigarette, it might take a few puffs in the beginning to allow the battery stick to activate the atomizer enough to get the nicotine heated. This should only take place the first time you use a new filter. After those few initial puffs you should be able to feel the same satisfaction that you do with a tobacco cigarette. There is a slight variance in the strength of the flavor sometimes, but after a few days use it will be much the same as you are accustomed to.

If you have trouble getting your e cigarette to produce vapor, then your filter might be low. If the tip of your battery stick is flashing, then it needs recharging. If your filter and battery stick seem to be fine, then it is possible that you need to replace your atomizer. This is tiny metal heating object placed between the battery stick and filter. You can order a replacement from your electric cigarette distributor. As long as you have all of your parts in working order your electric cigarette should work just fine.
